Translation

Vulnotes can translate vulnerability content between languages using AI. This is useful when your vulnerability library needs to support multiple languages for clients in different regions.

Translating a vulnerability

Open a vulnerability from the library and select the target language tab. If another language already contains text, a button such as Translate EN → FR appears. The button shows the source and target languages that will be used.

Click it to translate the title and text fields, then review the result and click Save. Switching language tabs alone does not translate anything.

What changes

Translation can replace existing text in the target language. Scores, tags, dropdowns, numbers, dates, and checkboxes are copied from the source rather than translated.

The AI is instructed to preserve formatting and leave code, identifiers, URLs, and technical terms unchanged. Check these details before saving, especially in formatted technical content.
